This was absolutely the one of the best investments we ever made! We live in a neighborhood and have 3 dogs that love to be free in the outdoors!! We tried to install an underground fence ourselves and let’s just say some things you leave … More to the professionals... it did not work on our dogs as they broke right through every time!! We contacted Bernie and he quickly quoted us a price of freedom... when I say freedom I mean freedom from having to individually walk each dog out on a leash to potty. We set a day for installation. He was on time and when he was done you had to look close to see where the fence was. I was afraid the yard would be a mess but I shouldn't have worried. After the training period, when one of my dogs was being stubborn and running through the fence (yelping as he crossed) I called Burnie and he walked me through the process of adjusting the collar over the phone. I had an electric pet fence throughInvisible Fencing® for 17 years when we recently got 2 new dogs and we started having problems with the dogs getting out. They came out and suggested that I replace all the wire and upgrade my older system to their new Boundaries Plus® system. Since then, I “inherited” another dog. I called to get another collar and the price was high so I began searching the internet for a new collar. I became frustrated because nowhere on my equipment did it say what collars or system that I had.
At the same time, I began having problems with my little dogs again running through the fence. In my internet searches, I found Pet Stop® Unseen Fencing. I call and talked to Burnie. He came by and could not explain why so areas worked and other areas didn’t. He offered to give me a quote to switch out to Pet Stop®. I highly recommend Burnie Knight and UnseenFencing! We have two (2) Golden Doodles and our granddog is a lab. Unseen Fencing works great for all our furry loves of our lives. We installed this when we got our first doodle and then added the others on. We even increased the area so the dogs would have more room.
I was skeptical because of it shocking the dogs, however there’s a beep before the shock and our dogs learned very quickly and I’m not sure they have even been shocked. They definitely stop now before the actual shock. Flags are placed around the perimeter of the electric pet fence during the training period and the dogs learn not to go past the flags. As we took away the flags, they still remembered the area. Now it is like having a large fenced in yard. Our doodles and the lab play safely in the yard without us worrying they will go out on a very busy road in front of our home. The peace the unseen fencing gives to me is awesome. When the batteries are running low, the collar alerts you. I contacted Burnie and he is so easy to work with. I had the new batteries the next day and no worries of the collar going dead.
